We’ll teach you how to use your documents, who to give them to, and how to safeguard them while making them available to the people you appoint. We’ll mail your Advance Healthcare Directive to your current primary care physician and other specialists whose care you may be under to make them part of your permanent medical file. If you update them in the future, we’ll send your physicians the replacement documents and confirm the replacement of the revoked documents. We’ll give you practical instructions on where to keep these documents available for EMTs in the event of a 911 call or auto accident, and what to do with them when you travel.
