Continuing Guidance for Life’s Changes
Your estate plan should change when your life changes. Our Peace of Mind Subscription Plan gives clients ongoing access to advice and guidance concerning estate planning and elder law for a predictable annual flat fee.
The plan is available to clients who enroll when they sign their estate-planning retainer agreement. It is designed to help clients stay connected with our office after their planning documents are completed.
A Plan Tailored to You
No two families—or estate plans—are the same. The subscription is tailored to:
- The complexity of your estate plan.
- Your family and financial circumstances.
- The elder law and estate-planning topics likely to arise during the year.
- The anticipated level of continuing advice and guidance you may need.
The scope of each subscription is explained in writing so that you understand what is included.
Why Consider a Subscription?
Life does not stand still. A marriage, divorce, birth, death, illness, move, retirement, inheritance, property purchase, or change in finances may affect your plan.
The Peace of Mind Subscription Plan provides a continuing relationship with our office. It can help you identify when a change may require attention and obtain guidance before a small issue becomes a larger problem.
The annual flat fee also makes the cost of the included services more predictable.
What the Plan May Address
Depending on the scope of your subscription, continuing guidance may involve:
- Changes in your family or personal circumstances.
- Questions about your will, trust, power of attorney, or health care directive.
- Changes in assets, account ownership, or beneficiary designations.
- Estate and inheritance tax concerns.
- Long-term care and elder law planning concerns.
- Whether your existing plan should be reviewed or updated.
- Guidance for an Executor, Trustee, agent, or other fiduciary.
The services included in your subscription depend on your written agreement. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate engagement and fee.
Ongoing Confidence
Estate planning is not simply the preparation of documents. It is an ongoing process.
Our Peace of Mind Subscription Plan is intended to give you a reliable place to turn when questions or changes arise. You receive continuing guidance tailored to your plan, your concerns, and the issues you are most likely to face.
Ask About Enrollment
Enrollment is offered when you sign your planning retainer agreement. Ask Edwards Estate & Elder Law whether the Peace of Mind Subscription Plan is appropriate for you and what level of service best fits your plan.
The specific services, exclusions, term, renewal provisions, and fees are governed by the written subscription agreement. Enrollment does not guarantee any particular legal result.
